For the 4th of July we had some friends--the Evans and Poulsens--come visit from Irvine. What a beautiful weekend! They drove up on Thursday and it was party-hard from then until Sunday afternoon. We are so lucky to have such GREAT friends who we really enjoy spending time with! All together our group was 11 people strong--6 adults and 5 children. It was one full house! Thanks to Mike's parents for letting us have such a large group come visit!
On Friday we spent the day in San Francisco. I love spending time in the city and wish we lived closer so it wasn't such an ordeal to get there. We took the BART train into the city and hopped on a cable car that took us to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. Literally, we had to hop on the cable car because there were so many people, we wanted to get a spot. We had to split our group up because we hod 4 strollers and the guy wouldn't let us bring them all on. We then walked around the wharf and pier and enjoyed people watching, taking pictures, and browsing the shops. It was such a perfect day for the city--a clear day and perfect weather! And ALL the kids did great! We took the bus back to the BART station to get home and had a BBQ that night. We were soooo exhausted, we skipped out on the fireworks and played Settlers instead.
The rest of the weekend we relaxed, the boys went golfing one night while the girls took the kids to downtown P-Town to get pizza and walk around. Then another night the girls went shopping while the boys took the kids swimming. We had such a great time playing games, eating good food, and hanging out! I was so sad to see them leave today! But we had such a blast with them all and hope they will come to visit again soon! Here are LOTS of pictures from the weekend!
Blowing bubbles on the BART ride.
The boys showing their manly sides....with 5 girls and 3 wives hanging around all the time, they felt they had to prove their manliness.
Abby and her friend Daylynn. They are 5 weeks apart and had a good time crawling over each other and grabbing each other's faces.
Surfing while riding BART. Reha won the contest of standing up the longest without falling over while the train started and stopped!
Abby and Daylynn again. They are both so CLOSE to crawling--it's crazy!

The whole group before our outing to San Francisco.
We miss you guys already! Come again soon!

You're little girl is soooo adorable, it makes me miss my little girl who isn't so little anymore. Anyway, my wife jsut started a blog so if your interested....well, you look good and happy. Take care!
What a fun time! How great your friends could come and visit! I miss CA! Looks like it was a blast! And yes, Abby looks ready for crawling! We are excited to see her and you of course!
It looks like you cut your hair. I love it. Sounds like you all had a great fourth. We had plans to come and see you but Ry just lost his job so they will have to be put off a little longer but we are still trying. It just seems like every time we get close some catastrophe happens. Sorry. We miss you tons.
Abby is the perfect Hall Germany blend.
This looks like fun. Honestly, though Mike, the picture of you guys flexing looks like your wives should have left you in San Francisco to be with your fellow gays.
