Mike and I went to an A's game with his dad and our 2 nephews. Abby stayed home with Grandma. We love baseball games!

Mike and I got to go to the Giants and Dodgers game earlier this week! And we got to leave Abby at home with the grandparents. We love this live-in baby-sitter stuff! :)
4. Getting to explore my hometown as a parent....There are so many things I never knew about because I didn't have a kid to entertain!
We like to go to this mini water-park in the town next to us. It has a slide that ends up in the water. Abby absolutely LOVES it and spends the entire hour going up the stairs and down the slide. I've taught her how to climb in by herself and land in the water without any help. Luckily she can stand at the bottom. The only unfortunate thing about the pool is it costs $2 each person. Not very much when you go once, but we want to go all the time! It quickly adds up.
5. Seeing Abby explore a new town....
She is still learning to enjoy these type of water parks. She'd much rather be all the way covered with water, not just sprayed!

We drove up to Marin County this weekend for my sister's birthday party. It was beautiful and so fun to just kick back and relax. Abby had fun in the pool of course. She is becoming quite the fish. She loves to go under all by herself, hold her breath, and then jump up out of the water. It makes me nervous how confident she is in the water. I have to watch her every move!
It's been a fun first week here in P-town and I'm slowly adjusting to a new routine. I am glad to be back in my hometown and am excited to raise our family here. I just hope things begin to feel more normal for me. Here's to a happy week!

I'm liking your lists! The pools and parks look fun! ...I hope your slump passes soon too...there is always an adjustment period whether it's something you wanted from the beginning or not. It looks like Abby is doing really well adjusting!! She looks happy as a clam. :)
And mom and dad visit there all the time, so you get to see them more often. And, you can go to the dairy and listen to music in the park. And, you are in such a familiar place. It will be awesome, I hope the adjustment goes quickly for you...good luck! There is always Michigan.
And me of course! I guess you saw me all summer long. Oh well, I guess every one gets a little Glenned-out after a while.

Moving is hard. Even if you really like the place there are always people to miss. But you sure have a lot doing for you in good old p-town.
