Newport Beach 2010

Now that summer is basically over, I thought I'd write about more of our adventures. A little bit ago we headed down to Newport Beach for a little Germany Family get-together. We also met up with my mom's side of the family, the Bell family, for a family reunion of sorts while there in Newport. It was a fun-packed week that made me wish we lived closer to my family. Abby had a blast hanging out with her cousins and getting to know them. They are all at such fun ages--there was never a dull moment! We spent a lot of time swimming and hanging out at the beach, but we also took two days to go play at Disneyland and SeaWorld. Thanks Mom and Dad for taking and treating us! Here are some hi-lights from our week.

Top 10 Favorite Memories (in no particular order):

1. Club 33 at Disneyland--My parents surprised us with tickets to the exclusive club at Disneyland. Talk about a once in a lifetime experience!

2. Watching Abby learn how to swim on her own!

3. Learning to surf--Thanks Jeff!

4. Eating In-N-Out, swimming every night, watching the sunset.

5. Watching Abby ooohhh and awwww over the Disney Princesses. That girl loves all Disney Princesses--not that I encourage it! :)

6. Abby getting to ride Soaring over California for the first time. She loved it!

7. Seeing all the cousins interact and get to know each other.

8. Exploring SeaWorld for the first time with Abby and Mike.

9. Late night chats with family members.

10. Attending the temple with my family and extended family to have my grandparents sealed together.

Whoa, big family trip! Such great pictures. It's crazy to look at Abby and think that she's grown that much in such a short amount of time!
