More about Maui:

We went with Mike's parents, brother and his family, and sister and her family. It was SO MUCH FUN to be with family. Abby had a great time with her cousins--and we had fun playing games and hanging out with everyone. Abby's all time favorite thing to do there was swim. We couldn't keep her out of the water. The hotel had a great kids area with a big ship that had slides and real sand to play in. But all Abby wanted to do was be in the big pool going down the water slides. They had a BIG water slide for kids over 40". Abby walked up the stairs to go down it, but the worker said she was too short. Funny, because Abby measured at 42" at her last doctor appointment, so I know she was big enough. The worker was probably just nervous about letting her go down. You have to be able to swim away from the slide all on your own, which Abby can do, but the worker probably assumed she couldn't. Anyway, she had fun playing on the little slides--over and over and over.
